Elina's love of interior design is unmistakable, but her free time is spent on crafts and creating beautiful plant creations. Who knows, maybe it's the start of Inventia's florist branch?
Stena Fastigheter outgrew their office and decided to create their own CoWork, to be shared with Stena Sessan and parts of Stena Recycling. The architects, Strategisk Arkitektur, were in charge of adapting the concept, all material choices and furnishings.
To make the move as sustainable as possible, the idea was to bring all the furniture with them, but the new tenant insisted that everything was to be left behind. So, the work of furnishing the new office in a sustainable way began. Strategisk Arkitektur requested custom carpentry, interior furnishings and lighting, which we were then entrusted to realize.
We supplied a custom-made reception desk, touch-down tables and dining room tables, lighting and all loose furnishings – as much as possible through re-use. And as a side note, one of the tables is made entirely of recycled nylon stockings.
Due to the high cultural-historical value of the building, some of the materials and colors had to reflect the origin of the property. For example, some of the flooring and fixtures in the small bay windows are original and preserved, as are the window sills and some wall sections. In short, an office where old meets new.
